Business Development Representative

Chute is looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Representative to help us extend our lead in the market.  

The Business Development role will focus on reaching out to new potential clients and gaining enough of their interest to continue working with our senior sales team. You’ll be well rewarded for your efforts and there is potential to grow quickly within the organization.  

About Chute:  

Chute is the leading solution for brands and publishers to collect, moderate, clear rights to, and display user-generated photos and videos anywhere (digital billboards, websites or banner ads, etc.).  Imagine a banner ad or live display during the World Cup where all the ads you see were taken by audience members, discovered by Chute’s system and displayed in real-time in front of millions of people.

Here’s what the job entails:

  • Owning your own set of leads (100+ calls/emails a day)
  • Setting other team members up to conduct demos of our product
  • Working strategically with Account Executives to drive revenue
  • Working within Salesforce.com to collect and manage data on every activity with our prospects
  • Competing within a collaborative and fun environment
  • Attend daily/weekly sales meetings and company-wide meetings
  • Training to grow your skills as quickly as possible

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Preferred 1-2 years experience from an inside sales/lead development role
  • Confidence in yourself and the company’s products and vision
  • Desire to be a leader and move quickly into an expanded role
  • Encompasses the work hard/play hard attitude
  • Is a hustler, self-motivated and takes aggressive goals on as a challenge
  • Loves a challenge and can take several angles to answer any objections
